Dr. Mohammad Zubair
Dr Mohammad Zubair, PhD(Micro), PDF(Med), MRSB(UK) Associate Professor, rendering his services at the Department of Medical Microbiology & Immunology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Tabuk, Tabuk, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He has been significantly contributing to the field of Medical Sciences by researching, teaching and taking active participation in the conferences of his interest research since developing his acumen in the area of infections in the foot of patients with diabetes. Extended Spectrum beta Lactamase gene (CTX,TEM & SH V), pro and anti-inflammatory and healing proteins and their clinical correlations have been a core area of his research.
Dr Zubair received the most prestigious “Marvil Levin” best research award by the American Diabetes Association (ADA) in 72nd Scientific Session held in Philadelphia, USA. He was also conferred with Scientist of the Year 2016 by NESA, New Delhi and Young Faculty award by Venus International Foundation 2016. He was also conferred with the University of Tabuk Presidents award for the best book published and highest citation in the year 2022. He has published about 50 research articles in International journals that explore different aspects of diabetes-foot ulcers. Nine abstracts of the conference proceedings have also been published in the high impact factor journals like Endocrine Reviews (IF 19.03), Diabetes (IF 8.65) & Diab Tech Ther (IF 2.05) and many others. Besides this, his work has been widely cited and accepted at various international conferences.
