Dr. Manimurugan S. M.Eng.,Ph.D.,PDF (USA)., MISTE, SMIEEE.,  is currently working as an  Professor and Head of Scientific Research,  Faculty of Computers and Information Technology, University of Tabuk, Tabuk City, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has 16 years of Teaching and Research experience in Computer Science and Engineering.

He received a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India, a Master’s in Computer Science and Engineering from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, India, both first-class and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India with 9.0 CGPA out of 10 in the course work examinations. He received a Postdoctoral Fellowship (PDF) from Oakland University, USA.

He has published 102 research papers in several Journals and Conferences which are indexed by ISI and Scopus   In addition, he has served as a guest editor and reviewer for various National and International Journals such as Elsevier, Springer, IEEE, Bentham Science, etc.,  He has received many awards, grants and patents from various government bodies such as the Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi, India, Ministry of Higher Education Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is a life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and a Senior Member of the IEEE.

He worked in various academic and research positions such as Principal in-charge, Head of the Department, Foreign Examiner and Indian Examiner for the Ph.D. program in various Indian Universities, Chair and Advisor of the IEEE conferences, Exam Coordinator, Consultancy In-charge, ISTE In-charge, PG Campus Management System (CMS) Coordinator and Disciplinary Committee member, Council member of the University Website and Ranking improvement, etc.,
